Chitrakoot District Magistrate Inspects Sonepur Auditorium, Orders Strict Upkeep Ahead of Public Use
The District Magistrate of Chitrakoot inspected the newly constructed Sonepur Auditorium, directing officials to maintain strict cleanliness and readiness ahead of its use for public and government events. Built under the Rurban Mission at a cost of ₹8.21 crore, the facility is set to become a key venue in the district.
During the visit, the DM reviewed the condition of the premises and emphasized that no negligence in sanitation or maintenance would be tolerated. He noted that the auditorium is expected to serve as an important venue for community gatherings as well as official programmes, making its proper upkeep a priority for the district administration.
Constructed at a cost of ₹8.21 crore under the Rurban Mission, the Sonepur Auditorium is among the region’s key infrastructural additions aimed at enhancing civic amenities.
